Ryan White is an Assistant United States Attorney in the Central District of California, where he is Chief of the Cyber & Intellectual Property Crimes Section. Mr. White, and his team of seven federal prosecutors, investigate and prosecute cases involving national security, computer and network intrusions, illegal activity on the darknet, fraud, theft of trade secrets, copyright and trademark infringement, identity theft, and online threats. He is a frequent speaker regarding cyber-related matters to federal prosecutors, U.S. law enforcement, business leaders, and community members. He is also an Adjunct Professor at Loyola Law School, where he has taught a course on cybercrime since 2014. Mr. White received the 2016 Attorney General’s Award for Distinguished Service for his leadership role in the investigation of civil rights abuses by high-ranking members of the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department.
